Following in the tradition of founder Joseph Pilates. Pilates emphasizes strengthening all the deep and superficial muscles of the body; beginning with the ‘core’ abdominal muscles, allowing the body to maintain optimal pain-free movement.  

Exercises are all done on the mat, using props to accentuate and challenge the student’s balance and co-ordination. 

Pilates is currently available live in studio and virtually via Zoom.


Gravity & Pilates

Gravity & Pilates is 2 great classes in 1.

You will spend part of the class working hard on the machine, giving your whole body a workout and then you will spend part of the class doing Pilates.  Pilates has a greater focus on core and posture.  You may do the Pilates portion on the machine or on the mat.  The variety ensures each class is a challenge.
