Strengthen the Body, Calm the Mind, Open the Heart. A Hatha Flow class is taught with unique sequencing to promote a dynamic + relaxing experience. This class incorporates all aspects of a traditional Hatha yoga class – breath, meditation and postures – while challenging your co-ordination through movement. This class is Level 1-2 and is suitable for beginner and intermediate students.
A Challenging, Rewarding + Meaningful Hour on your Mat. Using Hatha yoga fundamentals – breath, meditation, and postures – this class moves at a faster pace. Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘a flowing sequence’. Vinyasa yoga is based around sun salutations, offering an energetic class that synchronizes breath with movement. This class is Level 1-2 and is suitable for beginner and intermediate students.
A Relaxing Release. Restorative Yoga is a very slow paced yoga that uses props to allow your body to fully release into the poses. This class is ideal for individuals with or without yoga experience and all fitness levels. Pregnant women would also find this class beneficial.
Don’t expect to see a Downward Dog or Plank pose in this class. The Yin poses are held 3-6 minutes and will target deep connective tissues, increase flexibility and open energy flow through the body. Followed by a restorative sequence that will unfold your body with support of props to ensure complete relaxation into the postures. This class is ideal for individuals with or without yoga experience and all fitness levels.
Every 3rd Sunday of the Month (following Family Yoga). This class helps teach teens to breathe and focus on the importance of de-stressing. The group with be taken through a variety of yoga poses that will help the participants release stress, improve flexibility and learn to stay in the moment. Mindfulness is an important skill to help with focus which can help with studying and projects. This class is ideal for teens 12-17 years of age.
